Last year I rediscovered an urge to start writing again after spending more than a decade married to the keyboard I tried writing on electronic devices like the galaxy tabs and phones . I tried a manifold assortment of notebooks in various forms and sizes , and verily reached the conclusion that I required a variety of several notebooks, albeit in the a5 size. The a5 form factor is expansive enough to be creative, yet small enough for mobility.
This journal cover comes with a very good quality leather, supple and soft, and the touch alone elevates the experience. It has taken some scratches and I guess that is part of the character. It is currently housing 6 diaries, one kindle and few cards , 2 pens and has space for probably one more diary. This takes care of all my organization needs for the moment, the bullet journal doesnt cut it, and all the online methods chase busy work instead of productivity

I am very happy with the quality of the product. The leather finish and the elastics and accessories are very well made. I was looking around so much for and second travellers notebook i got from Japan and The Black Canvas did not disappoint.

The product is exactly as shown in the images, the a6 version is cute.
Ive brought from a different seller and that leather had a bad smell, but this one doesn’t have any bad smell.
The embossing is also tiny and cute, absolutely no regrets.

These is my first traveller's journal and my first purchase from here too! I really wanted to buy a leather journal cover and actually invest into one that's high in quality so I'm happy that I got this!! The color is perfect too!! The brown one was a little too expensive for me as a first purchase but the Red is so beautiful!! I plan to get a great use out of this!

It was a very good experience, very smooth. From design finalisation to product delivery it took about a fortnight. They answered all the queries comprehensively. The manufacturer has done a brilliant job with impressive attention to detail. For instance, the stitching on the side corners is very strong, ensuring durability for long-term use. It’s made of soft premium leather, and you can feel the premium leather quality the moment you hold it. The craft paper inside is also of excellent quality, and they’ve used really good GSM for the note paper as well. I ordered this in A6 size, which is quite compact, so you can carry it with you anywhere. The pouch is also quite good, allowing you to store it safely wherever you go. I really liked it in the red colour. Lastly, thank you for providing me with this at an affordable price. If I need to purchase any leather journal-related accessories in the future, I’ll definitely buy from here again.

The sleeve is just as advertised, leather is genuine and very good quality. It will fit in pen of any size and thickness. The only downside is that the flap is a bit loose whereas it should be a bit tight,

I have been looking for a good traveler’s notebook and this one is it! I got one from their refurb collection and I’m so happy with my choice. It’s honestly perfect.

The leather feels really nice and smooth and sturdy and the colours are exactly as shown in the pictures. It did come with elastics inside to add in inserts and even two bookmarks!
I also got their Kraft insert and that feels very well made as well.

My favourite part are the scuff marks on the pocket leather - the ‘imperfection’ makes it so much more special and really gives it character. It feels very ‘lived-in’ rather than perfect, but of course that’s a personal preference.

I absolutely love it tho! And thank you for the handwritten thank you card, such a cute little touch that made the whole experience even more special.
P.S. - the leather looks a little greenish in the pictures I uploaded but it’s a more darker brown in real life!
